Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Reinker
Reinkers are primarily used to reink or refresh a coordinating ink pad to extend the life of the pad. Creative crafters and mixed media artists have discovered many other ways to use reinkers in addition to refreshing their favorite ink pads. Some other uses for these small bottles of ink include pouring a few drops into a palette to paint, watercolor, or splatter with. Mix a few drops of reinker ink into other mediums such as texture paste, clay or resin to colorize and/or to marbleize. Another way to use the reinkers is to create a custom ink pad. Creating a unique pad has endless options - it can be a custom blend, an ombre pad, a rainbow pad, or more. Simple choose your colors and your pattern, apply a few drops and spread with a craft scrapper or squeegee.
